What is Nehemiah Teams?

An 8 week summer mission opportunity for Southern Baptists age 17-29 that strategically involves young people in cross-cultural missions to unreached people groups internationally or here in the United States (Project 52).

What is AOT?

Nehemiah Teams Advance Operations Training (AOT) is designed to disciple, develop, and deploy this generation to finish the Great Commission in this generation, specifically preparing young people to accept different leadership roles and assignments needed for NT.

This training will also better prepare them for longer term assignments or lifetime appointments with the IMB.

Deacon Nomination

In March of each year we nominate men to become deacons. Prior to nominating, we ask that each member pray earnestly as to whom God would have them nominate.  After nominations, each name is prayerfully considered, his qualifications evaluated and he is asked if he will serve. In June, we vote on a ballot in the bulletin. Each deacon serves for a 3 year period of time.

What does it mean to be a part of the church? As a Christian we are not called to just sit on the sideline and watch, we are called to “Break the Huddle” and get in the game! During the month of March, we are going to help equip you get in the game. Starting Sunday, March 5 at 10 a.m. in the New Fellowship Hall our entire church will be studying together how God has Made, Gifted and Crafted you to make an impact in our community and world. If you have any questions, please contact the church office. Join us as we take this exciting journey together!

Shoes will be shipped and assembled in Uganda. Each pair of shoes comes with a cost of $10 for mailing and additional assembly supplies. Your donation would be so appreciated and may be left at the Information Center.

Vacation Bible School will be coming up this summer on June 25-28. Please be praying as to where you could fit in with this awesome opportunity to connect kids with God’s Word.

If you love pancakes and you love to help, we need you!  Our puppet team will be hosting a pancake breakfast in the new fellowship hall.  Tickets are $5 and will be on sale from now until Feb. 22nd.  Proceeds will help the puppet ministry buy blacklight puppets.  Tickets will be located on the information table or you can contact Monk Blevins.
